Ran with Harlie in my neighborhood. Had to pull on her leash a bit towards the end to get her to keep up with me.

No other workouts done

Same course as yesterday only I ran in the opposite direction. Also I didn't take Harlie with me because her leash was in Christie's car. I think not having her made the run a bit easier

1 mi 8:40 .evening at gym on treadmill.

10 min. abs. strength training legs. leg press x 6 sets,  leg curl x 6 sets, calf raise x 6 sets. 

 I'm continuing to try out a vegetarian diet. It's been over a week since I lasthad meat/milk/eggs. I'm feeling good so I'll keep going with it for a while longer. It seems like it will be hard to sustain forever though. I think I'll eventually try to turn it into a very LOW animal product diet.

Foods I've really been enjoying: shredded wheat with soy milk, homemade "Laura Bars" out of dates pecans cashews, quinoa with sauteed mushrooms, quinoa as a cold cereal, fried tofu, kidney beans (surprisingly good plain), cucumbers, steamed kale with garlic, humus, pumpkin seeds, avocado, peanut butter 

 Things I should probably still eliminate from my diet: salty tortilla chips, white bread

Wanted to keep running but giving my left knee a rest. It's been kind of hurting the last few days. No pain during the mile (knee was wrapped).

First day with blue Nikes.

 EZ neighborhood jog with Harlie. Started just before 10 am which the puppy did not appreciate (road was hot on her paws). She was really dogging it (pun intended) at the end. I didn't mind b/c I'm planning a longer run tomorrow.

 First day with new knee brace. Feels so  good I might get another for my right knee.

Ran in p.m. w/Harlie in the neighborhood. She definitely cost me some time (chasing birds throughout the run and being generally sluggish for the last half mile), but I still love her as a running partner.

Knee felt good (double wrapped) 

Went to the gym with Christie. Biceps Triceps and shoulders, 9 sets each muscle group.

Ran with Christie Harlie and the neighbor's dog. Neighbor's dog couldn't make it the last half mile, otherwise would have been 4. Very easy run.
